dara5 Limited is a private, membership-based network. We provide access to curated events, experiences, introductions, and opportunities across private markets and lifestyle domains.

dara5 Investments Limited (FRN: 1000425) is an investment advisor and is an appointed representative of Suntera (UK) Advisers Limited (FRN: 692447) which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, dara5 Limited and/or dara5 Investments Limited is the data controller in respect of your personal data.

By becoming a member of dara5, attending a dara5 event or confirming your RSVP to a dara5 event, submitting a membership application, or otherwise engaging with dara5, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy and that your personal data will be processed in accordance with it.

Where we rely on legitimate interests as the basis for processing your personal data, those interests relate to the operation and development of our private membership network and community, the delivery of events and curated experiences, the facilitation of introductions and commercial opportunities, and the effective management of our business and communications. We have assessed these interests against your rights and are satisfied that our processing is proportionate and would be within your reasonable expectations as a member of or participant in the dara5 community.

4. Personal Data We Collect

Depending on your relationship with dara5, we may collect the following types of personal data:

Identity and contact information - your name, title, date of birth, email address, telephone number, postal address, professional title, employer, and business details.

Membership and application information - application form responses, membership status and history, signed Welcome Letter and membership documentation, and payment records.

Event and attendance information - RSVP and attendance records for dara5 events, event preferences, dietary or accessibility requirements, signed event terms and conditions, risk acknowledgements, and confirmation of insurance where required.

Financial and transaction information - records of membership fees paid, payment schedules, invoices, and billing history. Payment card details are processed directly by our payment provider and are not stored by dara5.

Communications - correspondence with dara5 staff by email, phone, or otherwise, and your communications preferences.

Professional and network information - information about your professional background, business interests, and areas of expertise, where shared with us or where relevant to the facilitation of introductions and opportunities within the dara5 network.

Community platform and messaging data - where you participate in dara5's WhatsApp community channel or member directory, we may collect messaging metadata including member contact details such as phone numbers used in connection with the platform, engagement and interaction data, introduction request data, and community activity records. This data is processed via a third-party community platform provider (see Section 7).

Website usage information - when you visit our website, we may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, via cookies. Please see Section 11 for full details.

Health or medical information - we do not routinely collect this. Where you voluntarily provide such information in connection with event participation (for example, to confirm fitness to take part in a physical activity), we will use it solely to facilitate your safe participation and handle it with appropriate care.

5. How We Collect Your Personal Data

We collect personal data:

directly from you - when you submit a membership application, sign documentation, RSVP to an event, correspond with us, or interact with our website
from event platforms such as Luma (or equivalent) when you register for or accept an invitation to a dara5 event
from third parties - such as member referrals, introducers, or commercial partners, where permitted
automatically - through our website via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 11)

6. How We Use Your Personal Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes. The vast majority of our processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests (as described in Section 3) or contract, meaning that in practice we do not rely on your consent for most of what we do with your data.

7. Sharing Your Personal Data

7.1 Within the dara5 Group

Your data may be shared within the dara5 group of companies, including dara5 Investments Limited, where necessary to deliver services, manage your membership, or facilitate introductions and opportunities.

7.2 Third-Party Service Providers and Event Operators

To deliver dara5 events and curated experiences, we may share your data with:

venues including restaurants, hotels, private clubs, and event spaces
event operators and experience providers, including international operators and activity providers
ground transport and logistics providers
event management platforms such as Luma or equivalent
payment processing providers

This sharing is necessary to facilitate your participation in dara5 events and experiences. Where it involves an international transfer, please see Section 9.
Where we consider it relevant to the networking purpose of an event, we may share attendee details such as names, professional titles, and organisations with other potential attendees of the same event.

7.3 Sponsors and Commercial Partners

dara5 works with a number of sponsors and commercial partners who support our events financially or strategically and who form part of the broader dara5 ecosystem. This is a core part of how dara5 operates and how value is created for the community.

Where you attend a dara5 event at which a sponsor or commercial partner is present, or where we consider an introduction to a sponsor or partner to be of genuine relevance to your interests, we may share your professional details - such as your name, professional title, employer, and area of business - with that sponsor or partner. This sharing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests in facilitating valuable introductions and relationships within and around the dara5 network, and the reasonable expectation of members and attendees that such introductions form part of the dara5 experience.

Sponsors and commercial partners are required to handle any data shared with them in compliance with applicable data protection law and may only use it for the purposes for which it was shared. Where a member or attendee has engaged with a sponsor or commercial partner at a dara5 event, we may also share their contact details with that sponsor or partner to facilitate follow-up communications relevant to that engagement.

7.4 Communications and Marketing

As a member of dara5 or as someone who has attended a dara5 event, we may contact you with information about upcoming events, experiences, opportunities, and community updates that we consider to be relevant to your interests. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interests and, where applicable, the "soft opt-in" under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), which permits us to contact existing members and attendees about similar services and opportunities without requiring separate consent.

dara5 uses a number of third-party technology providers and service providers who process personal data on our behalf as data processors. These include providers of website hosting, CRM and contact management, event management, member portal and community platform services, payment processing, and communications infrastructure. Some of these providers are based outside the UK, please see Section 9. We ensure that appropriate data processing agreements are in place with all processors. 8. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, taking into account our legitimate interests, our contractual obligations, and any legal or regulatory requirements that apply to us. Where we are required by law to retain records for a specified minimum period - for example under HMRC, FCA, or anti-money laundering rules - we will retain data for at least that period.

Some of our technology providers and service providers are based outside the United Kingdom, and some of our events and experiences take place internationally. 10. Your Rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

Access - to obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
